About the speaker: Garima Poonia is a waste management expert with about 6 years of experience in different states and geographies of the country. In 2019, she founded the Kachrewaale Project, the first waste management initiative in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands which created a successful and scalable solution for waste. Between 2019 and 2021, as a Solid Waste Management Consultant for the Andaman and Nicobar government, she has helped set up waste management systems in different parts of the islands.
