It is extremely unfortunate that workplace bullying is becoming such a common occurence. Researchers have found that employees who are intimidated, insulted or harassed on the job are more likely to have sleep disturbances than other workers. It is extremely important for employees to have a good night’s sleep before coming to work for it helps increase their productivity and keeps them in a better mood.

The research found that women who are exposed to bullying on the job every day or nearly every day were about twice as likely to as their peers to have sleeping difficulties. It must also be noted that those who observe bullying can also suffer from sleep disturbances. The odds of disturbed sleep were 20% higher in women who observed somebody else get bullied.
