Do your research on workplace policies
It is important that you are aware of your company’s policy against bullying, mistreatment, verbal abuse or anything similar that you might be able to reference while lodging a complaint. You should check your employee handbook and know about the policies that are in place that protect employees against bullying and help foster a team environment at the workplace.
The complaints against the bullies need to be taken very seriously and have to be investigated promptly. There should be a zero-tolerance anti-bullying policy in place at the workplace which should be part of the wider commitment to a safe and healthy working environment. There should be awareness campaigns held to inform people what bullying is and encourage them to report incidents of bullying that take place at work. It should be made clear what is and is not acceptable behavior at the workplace.
