Foreword

Sabi joined Class 4 as a confident, curious child, often with a book in her hands. It showed in our discussions, where she would bring up things from her reading.

When you read this book, you will meet Madam Hoot, a teacher who is strict but fair. Sabi tells me she was thinking of me when she wrote that character. Reading the book, I can see why she made the connection. She pays attention to how rules work, why they exist, and when they bend. That is the kind of mind she brings to the classroom too.

Wishing her success in all future endeavours she undertakes in life.
