Victims of bullying lack confidence
The victims of bullying can suffer from a lack of self-confidence and self-esteem. They are humiliated in front of their peers and their work is made fun of. This makes them doubt their own abilities and they become extremely conscious about themselves. Their confidence is deeply impacted and they tend to become less expressive.
This is not good for the employee or the employer. An employee who lacks self-confidence will not be able to apply him/herself to the job diligently. Their productivity will suffer and the quality of the work they hand in will be below par. This is why it is important that there are policies in place to protect employees from being bullied.
