Some children walk into a new place and quietly start noticing everything. Their wide eyes and quick thoughts begin to imagine things. The author of this book, Sabi Parikh, is one such child.

She is a learner who not only answers questions, but creates her own.

Back in Class 1, Sabi’s journal was one of her favourite things. She would fill it with her feelings, drawings, curious questions, and sometimes little lists of things she had done or noticed during the day. Her mind was always gently at work.

She has a natural connection with spirituality. Sabi is not just familiar with the stories of gods and goddesses—she shares her own thoughts about them with confidence and positivity. She wishes me on Teacher’s Day and on Guru Poornima too, with a true understanding of what the day means.

In this book, you will find thoughts that have come from observing, wondering, and simply enjoying the world around; some spiritual learnings and some are playful memories that will make you smile. As you read, you might feel like picking up your own notebook and writing down your own thoughts and ideas, just like Sabi does.

And who knows? Maybe a small idea in your mind will grow into something beautiful too.
