Ingredients
2-3 onions
3 to 4 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar, or apple cider vinegar
Pinch of salt
1 teaspoon jaggery powder to sweeten it slightly
Directions
- Cut the onions into thin slices
- Add 3-4 tablespoons of oil in a pan
- Add the onions with pinch of salt
- Let the onions cook slowly. Don’t rush them.
- Turn or stir the onions so that they evenly become soft and brown
- Add some jagerry powder and 1 teaspoon of balsamiq vinegar and reduce the flame to low
- Let the onions cool and convert it into thick paste by partially crushing them in food processor
